2nd Annual Mount Union Jr. High Invitational on Saturday 12/27/08 currently has a openings due to scheduling changes. This is a one day, pool style individual tournament. Weigh-ins will be at 8:00am with wrestling starting at 9:00am. Cost is $125.00 and each wrestler will get the maximum number of matches possible. This tournament is 2 competition points. 4 man scramble, Shot-gun start starting @ 8:00am with meal to follow.

Blairsville Babbit Tournament: We are looking to form a 10 team tournament on December 6, 2008. There would be two pools with 5 teams in each and we would be wrestling on 4 mats. After the pools wrestle we have the 1st place team from pool (A) wrestle the 1st place team from pool (B) and so on… This will give each team five matches for the day. Last year’s participants included Indiana, United, Marion Center, Commodore Perry, Yough, and Blairsville. J.J. Powell Mountaineer Tournament - One team is needed for a December 6th, 2008 two-point, one day individual tournament that includes Somerset, New Oxford, State College, Corry, Hollidaysburg, General McLane and Philipsburg-Osceola. The format has each wrestler getting five matches with three rounds of pool wrestling and two rounds of bracket wrestling. We place eight wrestlers per weight with awards for the 1st three place-winners. The day runs from 9:00 AM to approximately 6:30 PM.
