AA deadline to enter is Thursday, January 25th and AAA deadline to enter is Sunday

The last night to wrestle to count in seeding for AA is Wednesday January 24th and for AAA it is Saturday January 27th. It is important that coaches provide accurate individual results to upjmyers@yahoo.com.
Please also be sure to include THE RECORDS OF TEAMS WRESTLED so proper seeding can be determined in a timely manner. Paul CAN NOT search/ call all teams outside District 6 that you may have wrestled and still complete the seeding points in the time we have for turnaround. Paul will be updating the Team standings on the District 6 website shortly.
If you wrestle an out-of-state team, please determine their Pennsylvania equivalent classification and email to Paul at the address above.
First round AA @ highest seed site Tuesday, January 30, 2024
8 vs. 9 at 1. Winner wrestles 1 that night.
7 vs. 10 at 2. Winner wrestles 2 that night.
6 vs. 11 at 3. Winner wrestles 3 that night.
5 vs. 12 at 4. Winner wrestles 4 that night.
AA only will wrestle for a true second.
All tickets for Team Districts will be online through Hometown ticketing. Adult – $10 a ticket, Student $5
AA & AAA Semifinals & Finals will be Friday February 2 or Saturday February 3 at higher seed’s home site. Time TBA

Seed meeting – TBA, Will be announced by Coaches Assoc.
During the season, all results MUST be entered into TrackWrestling in a timely manner. One time only, enter the address upjmyers@yahoo.com. into the media section.

NW Regionals – At Altoona Field House Feb 23 & 24 2024
Tickets & Contest Management
Team Duals– All tickets for team prelims and finals will be Adults -$10, students $5. These will be sold online only through hometown ticketing. Fans of District 6 member schools can purchase tickets by going to the PIAA District 6 website at www.piaad6.org and click on the Play-off ticket link located in the center of the home page. No tickets will be sold at Team Wrestling Districts.
Contest management – District 6 will pay the game manger $130, Officials (per match $70 prelims, $80 finals).
Each Host site (prelims, and AAA finals) will receive $350 to pay their event staff. The AA Finals site will receive $450. This should include trainer, table workers, security, ticket scanner, announcer and doctor. As the host site, you are not paying for transportation. You can open your concession stand and have a 50/50 if you desire.
Individual Districts-AA and AAA
$10 per session. Wristbands will be sold at the gate. Online tickets will not be used
Day passes will be $18.

_________________________________________________High School will not participate in 2024 WRESTLING TEAM DUALS even if we qualify for the closed tournament format. IF not returned and your team is seeded in the tournament your school will still be charged the tournament entry fee.
